The Audiovisual Centre focuses on connecting the film and video game industries, strengthening networks, associations and platforms, supporting women and marginalised groups in the industry, short filmmaking, debuts, children and youth production, audiovisual education (film, new media, video games).
The Audiovisual Centre in the Kino Kavalírka is a place to reflect on the most current trends and phenomena in audiovisual and to generate discussion. It is a platform that offers professionals, critics and the public an orientation in the constantly changing discourse of the audiovisual industry. The aim is a collective awareness of the context and a cultivated feedback within all sectors of the audiovisual industry, be it communication between producers and creators, critics, cinema professionals (including galleries and video game institutions) and distributors, or between different interest groups.
